Tyrannosaurus lives in the late Cretaceous (about 65 million years ago ) - one of the last non-bird dinosaurs before the Quaternary genocide.

Tyrannosaurus is one of the latest extinct dinosaurs and its fossils can be found in the United States and Canada.

T-Rex belongs to Tyrannosauridae, one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs in the world. Its body length is about 11.5-14.7 meters. In 1902, Barnum Brown, an American dinosaur fossil collector, discovered the first Tyrannosaurus’s skeleton in Heil Brook, Montana, USA.

Tyrannosaurus has a very small forelimb, only about 80cm length, compare with the giant body size and the large hind limb its forelimb looks very small, even cannot touch their own mouth, neither their own feet, may be its role is just to balance their huge head. A huge mouth on its huge head, their teeth are as large as a banana, with amazing bite force.

Adult Tyrannosaurus’s bite force can reach 100,000 to 20,000 Newtons, it can bite through the skin of other dinosaurs easily, and bite off their bones, probably that’s why we call them Tyrannosaurus.
